Zarkmark provides this privacy policy to inform users of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received from users of Zarkmark.com and related Zarkmark websites.  This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reasons, solely at the discretion of Zarkmark.  Zarkmark will notify you of any material changes to the Privacy Policy by e-mail to your registered e-mail address, and by notification on the Zarkmark.com website. By using Zarkmark.com, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended in the future by Zarkmark.  “Processing” means using cookies on a computer or other software methods required by Zarkmark to provide its service.  International users consent to transferring personally identifiable information to the U.S. to be processed and stored under U.S. privacy standards. 
Information Collection and Use
Zarkmark’s primary goals in collecting personally identifiable information are to provide users with the product and services made available through Zarkmark.com, including but not limited to the Service, to communicate with you, and to manage your registered member account, if you have one. Certain sections of Zarkmark.com are available to registered members only.  Registration requires users to submit certain personally identifiable information to Zarkmark.  Personally identifiable information that Zarkmark may collect in such instances may include IP addresses, e-mail, usernames, passwords, and the names of your World of Warcraft characters.  Zarkmark will never ask for any information that could compromise the identity of your World of Warcraft account such as your World of Warcraft account username, password, or billing address. By default, only your Zarkmark.com username and World of Warcraft characters will be made public.  Certain features may allow you to display other personally identifiable information, however, in general, Zarkmark will not share or display your personal information with third parties or other users without your consent. Zarkmark may use your contact information to market to you regarding Zarkmark owned and affiliated services.  Zarkmark will not share your contact information with third parties.  In addition, Zarkmark may use your contact information to inform you of updates to the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, notification of server status, receipt of private messages through the service, verification of your account and account status, verification of World of Warcraft characters, welcome e-mail, password resets, and instances when sanctions are made against your account for violation of the Terms of Service. 
Information Sharing
Zarkmark relies on certain third parties to provide services necessary to maintain its websites, including but not limited to hosting and maintenance and database storage and management.  Zarkmark will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties only to the extent necessary to perform these functions. Zarkmark may release your personally identifiable information in compliance with government and law enforcement orders, at Zarkmark’s sole discretion, if appropriate to respond to claims, legal process to protect the property and rights of Zarkmark or other parties, the safety of the public, and to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law. Zarkmark may sell, transfer, or share some or all of its assets, including your personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy.  You will be notified prior to any such event and be given the opportunity to opt out of any such transfer if the new entity’s planned processing and use of your information differs materially from that set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Amending Personal Information
Registered users of Zarkmark.com may access, update, or correct their contact information or other personally identifiable information by use of Zarkmark.com’s user tools or by e-mailing Zarkmark.
Links to Other Websites
Zarkmark.com links to other websites.  The fact that Zarkmark links to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of affiliation with that third party.  Zarkmark cannot control the content of third party websites and cannot be held responsible for the content, terms of service, or privacy policy of these websites. In general, hotlinks to other websites in user comments are prohibited.  Any third party website linked to by Zarkmark users are beyond the scope of this policy.
